Laura Linney
Laura Leggett Linney, born 5 February 1964 is an American actor. Linney is the winner of various awards including two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards, and was nominated for 3 Academy Awards and five Tony Awards. Linney made her debut on Broadway in 1990. She has since earned Tony Award nominations, including the 2002 revival of The Crucible The original Sight Unseen Broadway productions (2004), Time Stands Still (2009) and My Name Is Lucy Barton (2017) in addition to the revivals of The Little Foxes (2017). On TV, she took home her first Emmy Award for the television film Wild Iris (2001), which was followed by wins for comedy Frasier (2003-04) as well as the mini-series John Adams (2008). In 2010, she starred for the first time in The Big C on Showtime and was awarded another Emmy award in 2013, and from 2017 to 2022, she'll be starring in the Netflix crime drama Ozark.
